"A" & "M" Christmas Photos

Last weekend I had a chance to do a friend of mine from high school and her fiance's Christmas photos. I really enjoyed taking their Christmas photos for them because their cute dog reminded me of my dog growing up, who is no longer here anymore. Their dog was such a good girl to sit and take photos with us...what a sweetheart! What I loved most about this shoot was how photogenic these 3 were...even the dog was photogenic haha! Such a cute family. Thanks again "M" and "A" for allowing me to take your Christmas photos this year.

The "R" Family Christmas Photos

So the holiday photoshoots begin. This sweet family was my first holiday shoot of the season. It's a bit crazy because when I did this shoot it was still in the high 80's low 90's and it totally did not feel like the Chistmas season at all,as I am sure you can tell by their short sleeve shirts-haha. I love the photos of the kids wrestling their Daddy...makes me laugh. Thanks again "R" family for allowing me to take your family Christmas photos this year,I had a blast!

Buddies Forever

So I wanted to try my first "vintage" photoshoot with some of the vintage headbands that I made along with some vintage "actions" I had downloaded onto my computer. So I thought I would try my first one with my oldest daughter and her cousin. These two have been the best of buds since the day they were born. It was so much fun because they had a blast getting ready for the shoot...they were so excited because they were able to wear a little bit of makeup for the photoshoot...they definintly felt like little princesses
P.S.-I am sure you can tell some of the coloring is just a bit different on each photo-thats becasue I was trying out the different actions on my computer

The "C" Family

So this past summer I finally got the chance to do a photoshoot of one of my immediate family members. My brothers family! I am proud to say this cute family is apart of my family...times 2 literally! I chose this song "Keeper of the Stars" for their post because we have ALWAYS said that for any family reunions we may have...(which we had no idea at the time we, 3 out of the 4 kids in my family would end up in the same town) we said that this song was going to be our family reunion song. A short summary of how this couple met is very neat...some of you may know the story already but for those of you who don't it is a very neat story so sit back and enjoy! So 35+ years ago my Dad served his mission for our church all the way across the ocean in Scotland,UK. He there taught and baptized many people but there was one particular family that he taught and who were baptized and became members of our church that is dear to us,  that was the "J" family. The "J" family always kept in touch with my Dad throughout the years even after his 2 years of his mission were through. Years and years passed and my Dad was married to my Mom and they had 4 children, and the "J" family too were adding more childen to their family at this time. Well, to try and make this short Mr. and Mrs. "J" came to visit my Mom and Dad and us(their kids) about 14years ago. Then about 3 years later one of Mr. and Mrs."J's" daughters came across to live with our family just for a few months doing an internship here in the U.S. while my older brother was on a mission. She left and my older brother returned home from his mission and we insisted he go to visit Mr. and Mrs. "J's" daughter in scotland..so he did for 1 week. Before he returned home..they were engaged!! They now have  3 beautiful children. That's a short story of  how these two met. Wait!!! the story isn't quite finished...Soooo at the wedding I met one of her brothers and fell IN LOVE!! He was heading out on a mission for 2 years, 1 month later so we kept in touch and wrote throughout those two years and when he returned I went over to good ol' Bonnie Scotland and we too were engaged and were married that same year he returned home. So I married her brother and she married my brother..NEAT huh!! So needless to say I had to post this song for this familys post because we are truly thankful for the "Keeper of the stars" because he definitly had a hand in it, LONG before we all ever knew.
