My Neice

So a few weeks ago I was able to FINALLY take my beautiful Neices 1 year photos.Which was way over due...she turned one in March and her Mommy and I FINALLY found a free moment to correlate our schedules so I could snap a few shots of her. This little one was my very first model 1 year ago when I first started my photography...I took her new born photos. How much she has grown up since then. She is one of the happiest kids I know. She always has a cheeky grin on her face, I love it! It was a little tough trying to get her to sit still for a photoshoot...Because she is ALWAYS on the go and a little fire ball. I love her little character within her. I love you little Miss "A" you are a beauty and I am so glad I am your Auntie.

"D" and "A" Oakland Temple Wedding

It's good to be back! I feel I havn't posted anything on my photogrphy blog in forever. What a great post to come back with... a wedding post!!!! Weddings are the best. I love to photograph weddings simply because EVERYONE is happy to have their pictures taken. Why?...Because it's such a special and exciting day!
 Now on that note...I also get VERY nervous photographing a wedding simply becasue it is such a special day..and a day you can't "re-do" if you mess up on the pictures. However, I do have to say I felt very calm with this wedding shoot. I think it helped not only because the people I photographed totally made me comfortable and showed total confidence in my ability(Which FYI helps a photograpger ALOT) but, I think what really helped calm my fears was being in the presence of the Temple. How can you not feel peaceful when you are in the presence of the Temple? So with all that said this wedding shoot was a joy to be apart of. This day was a gorgeous day in the bay area. What a beautiful couple to add to the beautiful day. My family and I have grown up with the Grooms family. What a neat family, we love them dearly. Thank You again D and A for allowing me to be apart of your special day. Hope the future holds the best for the both of you. My Beautiful Family

So my fantastic older brother was so great to take our family Christmas pictures this year for me. I thought he did a great job! We didn't do much of a "photoshoot" only because it was freezing cold that morning as I am sure you could tell by my youngest daughters purple lips...poor baby. We only made her sit through just a couple pics so we could have 1 for our Christmas cards..and she was a trooper...both girls were. They are so use to getting their pictures taken now, that it's not really a big deal anymore. I love my sweet family. They are my pride and joy. I would do anything for them. I am one lucky girl to have such a sweet husband and two beautiful girls.

The "S" Family Christmas photos

So this was my last Christmas photoshoot for the year. Wait no it isn't I still have two more to post...My parents and My own little family..so those will come next. But, isn't this family beautiful!!?! Would you believe me if I said these kids are my Neice and Nephew? They don't look anything like my kids huh?! The only thing they do have that are in common is that they are ALL ADORABLE! This beautiful family belongs to my one and only Sister. Thanks again "S" family for allowing me to take your Christmas photos...what a gorgeous family.

The "H" Family Christmas Photos

I was so excited when my cousin asked me to take her familys Christmas photos this year! I loved everything about this shoot. What I couldn't get enough of, was how ready their little boy was for every photo I took...He had his adorable grin on for EVERY single picture. I didn't even have to tell him to smile he just did it...I absolutly loved it!! And who couldn't get enough of Lil' Miss "E"?!?! She wasn't so sure of the whole thing at first, but once we got the bubbles out..she totally warmed up and was picture perfect. By the way, I found out a little trick with kids and a simple way to get them to smile,that is if you can get a helper to come with you (this time it was my Mom) have them blow bubbles behind you as you take the picure and it totally made these kiddos laugh aloud...an easy trick to get kids to smile if you are in need of one. Anyway, what a sweet sweet family. Thanks again "H" family for allowing me to take your photos this year, I had a blast!
